Disney Channel fans, did you happen to catch the "I am a PRINCESS Weekend" weekend recently on Disney Channel? Three favorite Princess movies all debuted including Tangled, Princess & the Frog & Cinderella. A new collection of dolls has been released at Target that will is sure to make children enjoy watching their favorite Disney Princess movies even more fun – the Disney Princess And Me Doll Collection.

My little princess has been fascinated with the Disney Princesses since she was about 2 years old. I've watched her grow up wanting to dress like them, watch their movies over and over, and decorate her room in their dolls, toys, and decorations. When a new Disney Princess movie comes out, it's almost like a Super-Bowl sized event for our family. We take her to the movie theater to see it and watch as she adds the love for the new princess to her collection.

Such was the case when Disney's Tangled was released in theaters. We went to go see it on its opening week and all fell in love with beautiful Rapunzel and her contagious, adorable personality. Brielle dressed as Rapunzel the following year for Halloween (Disney Princesses are also the usual theme for her costumes each year!)

I had the opportunity to review one of the beautiful dolls in the new Princess & Me Jewel Collection from Disney, and I chose Rapunzel. Though my daughter loves her and Tangled, she actually is one of the Princesses who don't get as much attention as the others, and therefore not as many dolls and toys of her are as readily available. After seeing an image of Rapunzel's Princess & Me Jewel Collection doll, I was instantly drawn to her. Not only is she my personal favorite Disney Princess, her doll is incredibly adorable and captures the true beauty of a Disney Princess!

Disney Princess & Me Jewel Collection dolls are 18 inches tall, the perfect size for your little princess to play with her favorite princess as her Best Princess Friend! Each doll wears a gorgeous ball gown inspired by their clothing from their films. In addition, the Princess & Me Jewel Collection dolls feature:

The Jewel Edition Rapunzel holds true to how I would envision Rapunzel in "real-life". Her beautiful, long blond hair shines, and her innocent eyes come to life on the doll. Her signature pink and purple colors are perfectly orchestrated into her ball gown, which features silvery-glitter designs to make it sparkle. She also wears matching silk shoes much like her slippers in Tangled. Her face is incredibly life-like, as if she is there to listen to all of your little princess's hopes and dreams as they play together. I would've loved having a doll like this as a kid (who am I kidding – I want this one now!), and I can't imagine a better gift for a Disney Princess fan, either as a toy or a collector's item.
